Mission:
To plan, manage, maintain and program improvements for the City’s multi-modal transportation network to ensure the safe, efficient and expeditious movement of people and goods. The City of El Paso Department of Transportation (EPDoT) was established on September 1, 2010. Our new department consists of the organization formerly known as the Street Department and of Traffic Engineering previously a division of the Engineering Department.

Pavement Condition Index Search Engine   The Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is a numerical index between 0 and 100 and is used to indicate the condition of a roadway.   Failed streets rated at a 0 and excellent streets rated at 100.   Residents can use the interactive map  to search for an address and view the PCI rating given to the street, the estimated cost to repave the street, and the estimated program funding level needed to pave the street.
