
The City of El Paso - Department of Public Health (DPH) established a Speakers Bureau (SB) and Speakers Bureau Committee (SBC) to create and provide presentations to community groups and organizations on public health issues through a network of trained Subject Matter Experts within the DPH.

The SBC is composed of members of the Executive Team, Program Managers, Public Affairs Officer, and Subject Matter Experts from the various DPH programs. It is under the purview of the Health Education and Promotion Division, responsible for the coordination of Speakers Bureau members’ training, SBC meetings, review and approval of presentations, SB evaluation, and other logistic tasks.
The SBC currently has standardized presentations and materials in the subject areas listed below. Please note that these presentations are crafted for adult audiences and they are not appropriate for children. If you request a presentation for school children, your request will be referred to our individual programs for special arrangements.
If you wish to request a presentation for your organization, please complete and submit the online Presentation Request Form (one request form per presentation). Requests must be made 3 weeks prior to your event/presentation. An SB representative will contact you to confirm the presentation within 2 days from your request.
