Central Fire Station:
201 S. Florence
Central Fire Station: 201 S. Florence

Central Fire Station located in downtown El Paso was occupied in June 1982. It is the fourth Central Fire Station. The original Central Fire station was occupied in 1890 and located at Santa Fe and Overland Streets. In 1902 a new station was built at the Southeast Corner of Overland and Stanton Streets. Both buildings were shared with the Police Department and other City officers. The department moved a third time after a fire in the City Jail in 1916. The third site was Campbell and Overland.

It is the home of Pumper 1, Ladder 1, Battalion 1 and the Deputy Chief.
