The El Paso Emergency Alert System is a reverse notification process provided by the El Paso City/County Office of Emergency Management.
The system is implemented when a disaster and or/emergency situation has been identified in El Paso County or surrounding region. It does the following:

It identifies the affected area

Provides at risk citizens with a message describing the threat

Followed by specific instructions explaining protective measures citizens should take to ensure their safety
The system can deliver messages by:

Land-line Telephone

Cellular Telephones
-
Text Messages on cell phones

Email Alerts
-
TTY/TDD Devices for deaf or hard of hearing
