The Biennial Jornada Mogollon
Archaeology Conference
This archaeological conference's geographic focus area is known as the Jornada branch of the Mogollon cultural region. The egg-shaped area, first defined by Donald J. Lehmer, encompasses south-central New Mexico, west Texas, and northern Chihuahua, Mexico. This conference was created thirty years ago by Patrick H. Beckett to provide archaeologists with a forum for sharing their research.

The 17th biennial conference will be held October 7 and 8, 2011.
